বাংলাদেশ থেকে রাজনৈতিক আশ্রয় নিয়ে প্রবাসে অবস্থানরত ইউটিউব ভিত্তিক রাজনৈতিক ভাষ্যকার ও বিশ্লেষক শেখ ফরিদ অভিযোগ করেছেন, তাকে চুপ করিয়ে দিতে ইউনুস সরকার হ্যাকার ব্যবহার করছে। তার মতে, এই হ্যাকাররা ইউটিউবের অ্যালগরিদমকে ফাঁকি দিয়ে একাধিক ভুয়া কপিরাইট স্ট্রাইকের মাধ্যমে তার নিজস্ব ও অতিথি হিসেবে যুক্ত হওয়া অন্যান্য চ্যানেলগুলো ধ্বংস করে দিচ্ছে।
Sheikh Farid, a politically exiled Bangladeshi YouTuber and outspoken commentator on extremism and authoritarianism, has alleged that the Yunus-led government is deploying hired hackers to silence him and other dissenting voices on YouTube. According to Farid, these hackers are exploiting YouTube’s copyright algorithm to issue false copyright strikes, resulting in the takedown of his personal channels as well as those where he appears as a guest.

তিনি বলেন:
“আমার প্রথম চ্যানেল কপিরাইট দিয়ে শেষ করে দিয়েছে, দ্বিতীয় চ্যানেল খুলতেই আবার একই পদ্ধতিতে স্ট্রাইক দিয়ে উড়িয়ে দিলো। যেসব চ্যানেলে আমি অতিথি হিসেবে অংশ নেই, সেগুলোতেও একই ব্যক্তি কপিরাইট দিয়ে দিচ্ছে।”
Farid claims he has been consistently vocal in his criticism of the government, religious extremism, militancy, and what he calls the hidden hand of the “interior government.” As a result, he says, the Yunus regime has become deeply unsettled.
“They took down my first channel with false copyright claims. I opened a second channel—same outcome. Even the channels where I appeared as a guest are being hit with copyright strikes from the same individual,” Farid alleged.

According to Farid, a single Gmail address—hackerteamnahid@gmail.com —is responsible for launching a coordinated wave of copyright strikes against him and other critics. He alleges that the hacker, identified by the name Nahid Mia, is working on behalf of the Yunus government, with the aim of neutralizing anti-government voices on YouTube.

With traditional media outlets in Bangladesh either state-controlled or silenced by fear, YouTube has long been seen as the last remaining platform for free speech. However, Sheikh Farid warns that even this space is now under attack through technical manipulation and digital censorship.
“এরা বুঝতে পারছে, যুক্তি দিয়ে পারবে না, তাই প্রযুক্তির অপব্যবহার করছে। আমি চুপ থাকলে হবে না, আরও শত শত শেখ ফরিদ আজও দেশের ভেতরে-বাইরে কথা বলে যাচ্ছেন।”
“They know they can’t beat us with arguments, so they’re abusing technology. Silencing me won’t work—there are still hundreds of Sheikh Farids speaking out from within and outside the country.”

“They’ve unleashed hackers to silence me. But they won’t succeed. This fraudulent, corrupt regime knows it is losing the battle of ideas—so now it hides behind the machinery of digital oppression.”
